well, it is GRBL, so it'll likely take G-code toolpaths spit out by some manner of slicer too.

Oh, of course. I'm just saying that's the only way I'd want to operate it. If I wanted to operate something like that by hand, I'd use a hand held rotary tool sooner than up up down down left right left right b a.
