In that case, I'll leave it like this:

In my day to day life a liberal state, Trump is mocked and criticized frequently. To the point where you start to feel like Gippy in that surely it is common knowledge that this guy is a dolt.  But I went visiting my family and someone said to me, "Trump is the only one with the courage to get out of the Paris agreement."

Yeah, he said courage.

Quite the contrast from my typical day to day.

Anyway, I bet that there are a whole lot more people who think he's courageous than those who think he's the worst ever.

FWIW
Quote:According to data from the latest Harvard-Harris Poll survey, provided exclusively to The Hill, 48 percent of respondents say they approve of the job Trump is doing, compared to 52 percent who say they disapprove.

That’s a 3-point increase in the approval rating from last month, when Trump posted a 45-55 split in the poll, his lowest mark since Harvard-Harris Poll began tracking his approval rating in March.

Trump’s 48 percent approval rating in the survey is considerably better than in other polls.

Also, that's easy to write off as the common conception is that Republicans are sheep. Trump supporters will support his every flip flop. He'd be called courageous by his sheeple if he decided that the Paris Agreement was OK.

Ask them what they think about his reversal on Medicare.

yeah, I know. "not my party sucks" It's also popular with bands.

The point is, Trump stands a great chance of being elected again, irrespective of... of... well, really anything.

Well, the uptick is that it has already happened. So, one might hope that next time, there won't be this whole, "never gonna happen" attitude on the opposing side(s!). Then again…

I can't wait for him to campaign against Trump in a couple years. Trump is going to drain the swamp of all those Trump appointees.

Me? Oh, I've laughed. I judge people.

Surely, you realize the snobbery exists far beyond "some guy on an internet forum." It's everywhere, and it's shitty because it distracts the morans™ on both sides from important issues.
