Hello!

I have a challenge for the Google Jedi! (and YES, I have Googled and tried to do it myself already. I am THAT stupid. Thanks)

I've got a Google Form with a pull-down menu on it that feeds a variable into a "Location" column on a Google Sheet.

I want the sheet to send a templated email with the data from the form to a different email address, based on what they've selected from that pull-down list.

I also want a custom subject line for each different email address.

And I'd like to be able to enter the data from a separate field (another pull-down) into the subject line.

For example:
Subject line: "This email is coming to you because _x__ is interested in _y__." And the body of the email would include the rest of the data gathered by the form.

I've been Googling for the answer, and banging my head on the wall to no avail. I need a Google Jedi! Or maybe a harder wall... ;)
Thanks!

Also, Shut up Tito. <-- for old times sake.
I don't know Google Script well. I've messed about with it. It's functional.

You probably won't find an off-the-shelf solution for that, and instead should break the project into smaller chunks.

You'll probably find something that sends an email when a new row is added. From there, you can learn to customize that email by retrieving values X and Y. Finally, you can set up your email addresses in a separate sheet/tag/thing where Column A is location and Column B is email, and select the appropriate value from that area.

The devil is in the details.

I'd start with something like this, get it working, then modify it.
