Spoiler: I wasn't upset about Milo not speaking. I was actually quite happy that he couldn't. I was just disappointed in how it happened.

Which, your first impulse here will be to ask if that at all feels ironic. But no, it doesn't.

I really just wanna see if those that decry sensorship no matter how it happened will have the same reaction here, or if the the outrage is tied to a dollar amount of destruction and/or pretty images that help The anger swell. Or who it happened to. How many breasts were involved. Or the ideology that was silenced.

So, Brown wasn't silenced for the same thing Warren did.

Is it tied to his penis? Or did the Rs figure out they done screwed up? And which way will it be spun?

RE: *cough*
So here's the thing. Warren was silenced for breaking parliamentary procedure and after being warned. I don't elevate this incident to the level of bullying that we've seen in higher ed. I'm not going to defend McConnell's decision either. I don't know enough about his parliamentary judgement (or his penis), but in a venue where filibustering is a skill to be admired, I'm not convinced that he made the right call.

Of course, I don't think silencing any voice is a good idea, but I recognize the need to maintain order in meetings of 100 people. I'm fully aware that those two ideas can be at odds when it comes to legislative procedures, and they have systems to try to make it all work together, but sometimes systems fail.

Thankfully Warren wasn't censored and was able to spread her message via alternate channels.

I sometimes tie things to my penis.

Try what? Tying things to your pee-pee? I feel icky enough knowing that you do it.

I shall refrain from informing the good people of the Treehouse about what I do and don't do to or with my tackle in the privacy (words have meanings!) of my own home. Or hotel room. Or office toilet stall. Or empty train compartment.

Don't you hate the mirrors over the desk in hotels?  It's as bad as the glossy screens on laptops, where you occasionally catch a glimpse of your sweaty, pudgy face while you're pullin' the pud to internet porno.

I mean, unless that's what you go for.  In that case, I guess the mirror's more of a target.

This concludes my day of giving tatertot's "cough" thread its due attention.

Tying weights to you dick is one of the oldest lengthening strategies. There of course is now all sorts of pumps and complicated apparatuses you can get, but really all you need is to strictly adhere to a daily routine.

I knew I was doing it wrong somehow.

Maybe I should tie a CNC mill to it.

Well, let's take the wall for example [it'll be huge]. You pay in, and that money goes toward [the best] wall [anyone has ever seen] on our southern border. Do you mean to say that the wall is your pay out in your time of need? Or perhaps you're referring the defense program that keeps you safe. Or maybe the travel ban designed to keep muslims from entering the country.

I feel like I'm paying in, but I'm not sure they're paying out how I'd choose. Maybe it's different for you, again, I may be a cynic.

That's how so.

Yes. There's a lot we "get" that we don't want or agree with. I wouldn't necessarily lump disaster recovery money in with that stupid wall. I think it's a positive example of Gubermint.

The tater was gloating that CA asked the federal govt for aid money to help with the dam. Not that we're getting new cruise missiles to kill brown people with.
